SHAH ALAM – Karangkraf Media Group (Karangkraf) today hands over token of beneficiaries to the family of its senior late-workers who passed away last year.

The two workers were Sinar Harian’s Terengganu reporter Rubiah Omar who had served the company since 2009 and Ultimate Print Sdn Bhd machine operator Muhamad Sani Yunus, also known as Ujang who had worked with the company since 2004.

Rubiah breathed her last on Dec 24, 2021 due to a brain tumor while Sani succumbed to brain infection and kidney failure on May 9, 2021.

Rubiah’s beneficiaries, her husband Zamri and her sister Rohaida Omar took the token while Sani’s brother, Muhammad Imran represented the family.

Both family members expressed their gratitude and thankfulness to Karangkraf who appreciated the service of the employees and remembered them even when there were no longer serving the company.

Rohaida, unable to hold her tears, took the chance to express her gratitude to Karangkraf.

“I represent our parents who were unable to attend, I am very moved to have such an occasion in appreciation of my sister's service.

“For me, she left us at a very young age.

“I am also grateful to Karangkraf because even though my sister is sick, Karangkraf still allowed her to work,” she said.

Meanwhile, Rubiah’s husband, Zamri said the token would be used to take care of their children as their upbringing was fundamental.

Meanwhile, Imran felt that Karangkraf had treated his brother well which was why Sani served the company for a long time

“I represent my entire family, thanking my brother’s fellow colleagues including bosses.

“Although there is no blood affinity, what you did for my brother is very huge, I used to wonder how my brother can serve so long here and apparently Karangkraf treatment towards employees is like the treatment of family,” he expressed.

The token was handed over by Chief Executive Officer of Ultimate Print Sdn Bhd Azizi Fikry, with the hope that the relationship between the beneficiaries and the company would keep going.

“We hope that our relationship does not end here, if need any help or going through hardship, we are always here to help,” he told on behalf of Karangkraf.
