KUALA LUMPUR- PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim expects the 15th General Election (GE15) to be held either in late October or early November.

He said if his prediction was correct, he was ready

"All the machinery from PKR has been mobilised, including negotiations on the distribution of joint parliamentary seats within the component partners in Pakatan Harapan (PH) and many consensuses have been reached,“ he told the media after a Townhall Session programme: Youth Interaction Stage Organised by Anwar Ibrahim Legislative Internship (AILA) at the Universiti Malaya Alumni Center, here.

The Port Dickson MP at the same time explained that if the Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda) was accepted as a component in PH, they would further discuss the seat distribution structure.

"However, seats that have already been won by PH will not usually be changed and given to other parties to be contested in the GE15," he said.

Muda, through its President Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman previously stated that they would compete for 15 parliamentary seats in the upcoming GE15 following his agreement to join PH.

Anwar also reminded the government not to arbitrarily set the GE15 date which aims to speed it up in order to close the court cases of some individuals.
