SHAH ALAM - Over the years, people have witnessed numerous national campaigns and slogans including the Wawasan 2020, OneMalaysia, Malaysia Baharu and the latest one Keluarga Malaysia as an indicator that the country is progressing.

But is it for the better?

Malaysia’s broader visions and aspirations in the transition to the endemic phase of Covid-19 revolved around economic recovery, price hikes and the possibility of a general election that could possibly change the political landscape of the country, this year.

In the next episode of Wacana English Edition entitled “Malaysia’s Progress: Where are we now?”, panellists will be discussing issues concerning social transformation and opportunity, equitable development especially for the youth and the underserved communities.

Among the topics which will be focused on were the collective identity of Malaysia as a nation, how slogans and campaigns helped shape the national identity as well as the accessibility and facilities for the students.

The panellists who will be discussing the issue on the show are #BangsaMalaysia project coordinator Nathaniel Tan, Association of Women Lawyers vice president Daniella Zulkifili and Crisis Management and Conflict De-escalation consultant Zarra Z. Rawi.

The show will be broadcasted live at 8.30pm on Friday (Sept 16) on all Sinar Daily and Sinar Harian's digital platforms.
