KUALA LUMPUR – Among the concerns bothering Khairy Jamaluddin is the uncertainty of his candidacy in the 15th General Election (GE15).

Based on a report by The Star, the Health Minister during a press conference was asked about what were the other concerns raised during last Wednesday’s cabinet meeting in regards with GE15, besides the flood issue.

To this, Khairy jokingly replied “Concerns? I still have no seat to contest in”.

His remark prompted laughter at the press conference which was held after the launching of the Asia Dermatology & Aesthetic Medicine Summit (Adams) 2022 here.

He did not comment further on the question.

It was reported that Khairy who is Rembau MP, was speculated to be moving to a different constituency in the election.

This was after Umno deputy president and Rembau Umno division chief Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan expressed interest to contest in the Rembau parliamentary seat.

The former Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar is currently the Rantau assemblyman, but is looking to move up to a federal seat in GE15.
