SHAH ALAM - Leading telecommunication company Maxis Berhad (Maxis) has officially kick started its third Maxis Awards and currently accepting proposal submissions until Oct 11.

This time around, Maxis has collaborated with SME and Entrepreneurs Business Awards (Seba) in identifying entrepreneurial initiatives that carried positivity and sustainable impacts to the locals.

“Since launching our Maxis Awards last year, we have been inspired by the innovative minds who have a strong desire to bring positive and sustainable impact to society.

"We are excited to once again take this journey and highly encourage enterprises out there to submit their proposals.

"We are also thrilled to work with Seba for this round of the awards, and look forward to the collaboration and working towards a shared aspiration,” said Maxis chief marketing officer Loh Keh Jiat.

Meanwhile, Seba founder Nitesh Malani said Seba and Maxis shared a common goal which was to recognise the most outstanding entrepreneurs in the country and to support them to reach for the stars.

“We are hopeful that this partnership will accelerate the growth of entrepreneurs in the new digital Malaysia,” he said.

Since the launch of the award, Maxis has recognised four enterprises which submitted green-themed initiatives and safety tech solutions.

Maxis Awards was dedicated to empower, recognise and support outstanding Malaysian social enterprises whose initiatives led to positive impacts on citizens.

The submissions to Maxis Awards will be evaluated by a panel of judges based on stringent evaluation process as usual.

Those who were shortlisted should present their projects to the judges and they must fit the criteria based on innovation, role of technology and added value to the community.
