SHAH ALAM - Istana Negara denies rumour that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob will meet Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah today as claimed by political blogger Datuk Zaharin Mohd Yasin.

Comptroller of the Royal Household of Istana Negara Datuk Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin said His Majesty was still in Singapore, Free Malaysia Today reported.

"(It is a) false news. His Majesty is still in Singapore," he said on Monday.

On Sunday, Zaharin who was recently removed from his Umno membership on Friday claimed that Ismail Sabri would be at the Istana Negara today to face Yang di-Pertuan Agong to apply for the dissolution of the Parliament.

Meanwhile, a source with Ismail Sabri said the Prime Minister's schedule on Monday was "packed with meetings".

The source had said the Bera MP did not have meeting scheduled in Istana Negara for the upcoming few days.
