CYBERJAYA - Over 10 per cent of Orang Asli’s children throughout Peninsular Malaysia drop out of the education system.

Rural Development Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid said among the factors of the dropout was the distance of their residence with schools other than the accessibility of the road.

"There is also the factor of families who do not care about education as well," he said.
