Why join hands with Pas, if you are sure of winning GE15, Syahredzan asks Umno

He said Umno's latest action to work with Pas through Muafakat Nasional (MN) shows Umno is uncertain of its capabilities in the upcoming elections.
"Why would Umno want to discuss MN with Pas again? Even after winning two-thirds of seats in Melaka and Johor? Because it shows they couldn't win enough seats to establish a majority government.
"Don't make any conclusions that BN will win in GE15, nothing is conclusive. What's important is the combined efforts to work towards a better Malaysia," he said on his Twitter.
Umno President Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi on Sunday said Umno would continue with their agenda to unite ummah, any efforts to recover MN or any form of consensus drum support.
Pas Deputy President Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said Pas would have a meeting with Umno's leadership as soon as possible as they face GE15.
Ibrahim said the cooperation within 27 Parliamentary seats as well as a few state seats in Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Penang was potentially seen as winnable seats if Umno and Pas could reach a consensus.
Last Friday, Umno Supreme Council agreed to work with Pas.
