Prepare for GE15, Ismail Sabri tells Umno’s machinery

KUALA LUMPUR - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob asks for all Umno’s machinery to be completely prepared to face the 15th General Election (GE15), which is expected anytime soon.
Umno Supreme Working Council member Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek said the urge was made by Ismail Sabri during the special meeting at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL), here, on Tuesday.
"He (Prime Minister) asked for all (Umno machinery) to prepare for any possibilities.
"Insyaallah with the spirits shown we hope to be prepared in facing the possibility of elections to be held any time now," he said when met by reporters after the meeting.
On Tuesday, WTCKL became the centre of attention due to the special meeting with Umno President Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Ismail Sabri.
The special meeting lasted for an hour and involved all of the party’s division chiefs, Wanita chiefs, youth movement and Puteri.
The meeting was believed to have discussed the dates for GE15.
