Budget 2023 comprehensive, for everyone - PM
KUALA LUMPUR – The Budget 2023 collectively focused on all communities in line with the concept ‘Keluarga Malaysia, Prospering Together’, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri.
He said the government had focused on the whole community of Keluarga Malaysia, which comprised of everyone from B40, M40, youth, women and also disabled.
“Therefore, we have allocated Budget 2023 based on the community groups that I had mentioned.
“Apart from the groups, we also allocated a budget for the development of the rural and urban areas.
“Moreover, Budget 2023 also focused on the economic recovery and we also geared up to face the uncertainty next year,” he said.
Ismail Sabri told the media after the announcement of the Budget 2023 by Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz at Parliament Malaysia, today.
The government had allocated RM372.3 billion formulated based on 3R agenda which were Responsive, Responsible and Reformist.
Budget 2023 was the second budget tabled under the government led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob and also the second since the 12th Malaysia Plan was launched on Sept 27 last year.
