Zuraida appointed as new PBM president

SHAH ALAM - Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) officially appoints Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin as the party's new president.

PBM secretary general Nor Hizwan Ahmad said the decision was agreed upon after PBM carried out the necessary process in accordance with the party's constitution guidelines

"PBM Supreme Council meeting yesterday convened and confirmed seven motions that were unanimously approved in the 2022 Annual General Conference (PAT) in Shah Alam on Saturday, Oct 1 last week.

"Among the motions that were unanimously accepted was to place Zuraida as PBM President.

"Hence, the supreme council that was convened yesterday has examined and carried out a proper process and in accordance with the guidelines of the party constitution has appointed Zuraida as the party's president," he said in a statement on Saturday.

Nor Hizwan added the supreme council and all PBM members congratulated her on the appointment.

"The supreme council hoped that she will continue to be given the strength to lead the party to continue to excel in providing the best service to all Malaysians.

"The supreme council would also like to convey our deepest appreciation and gratitude to Datuk Larry Sng who has led the party before," he said.
