Invest Selangor holds mega expo this month

The Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2022 will be officiated by the Selangor Crown Prince His Royal Highness Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj representing the Selangor Sultan His Royal Highness Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahudin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
Also at the opening ceremony, Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said SIBS was one of the biggest and most successful business summits that was held in the region.
"We will continue providing networking avenues such as SIBS, as it has proven to be one of the biggest and successful business summits ever held in the region. I hope that you take full advantage of these opportunities throughout the 4 days of the Summit and am sure many deals will be struck in no time," he said.
The biggest event that will be happening for this year’s SIBS is the Selangor International Expo (F&B) 2022 which will feature 421 booths from Hall 1 to Hall 5 on the convention centre’s ground floor.
The expo will also have the Supermarket Buyers Programme where 8 supermarkets will be participating namely ST Rosyam Mart Sdn Bhd, Lulu Group Retail Malaysia, Trendcell Sdn Bhd (Jaya Grocer), QRA Sdn Bhd, My Hero Supermarket Sdn Bhd, Lotus's Stores Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Orange Convenient Store Sdn Bhd and CKS Supermarket Sdn Bhd.
The regional Selangor Asean Business Conference (SABC) will also be held which will witness talks and presentations from both international and regional speakers with a total of 17 speakers and 6 moderators. The conference will expect to have around 250 attendees.
Other events will also be held during the summit such as the Selangor Smart City and Digital Economy Convention, the Selangor R&D and Innovation, the Medic Selangor International Expo Conference, the Selangor Industrial Park (Spark), the Selangor International Healthcare
Conference (SICF), Selangor International Culinary and the Asian Smart City Conference Mayors Summit and Selangor Declaration.
Full participation in SIBS 2022 will see around 846 booths to be occupied at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre targeting 30,000 visitors in the entire four days of the summit.

This year, with a target of RM350 million of potential negotiated sales, SIBS 2022 will once again perform as the regional premier summit for local and international industry players to convene and explore the great potential of the Malaysian and regional markets.
