MELAKA - Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Sulaiman Md Ali is ready to contest any parliamentary seat if the party leadership decides to bet on him.

He said no decision has been made known to him regarding BN's candidacy for Melaka's six parliamentary seats up untill now.

"If that is recommended by my leadership, I'll follow anything," he said when he was met by reporters after completing the 2022 Melaka Syarie Lawyers Commissioning Ceremony at the Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC) in Ayer Keroh, here, on Tuesday.

Sulaiman who is also the State Assemblyman (ADUN) for Lendu, said that as a politician and an individual who loves the party, he openly accepts any decision of the party leadership.

"It doesn't matter if the seat is padded or not padded, I'll come wherever I called," he said.

On a question if whether the state administration would change if he wins the parliamentary seat, Sulaiman replied, any change of administration has yet to be discussed.
