GE15: Sabah Bersatu Armada to reveal youth candidates

KOTA KINABALU - Sabah Bersatu youth wing (Armada) is expected to present a few of its youth candidates to be considered for the 15th General Election (GE15).

Its chief Datuk Fairuz Renddan said the names for consideration were among those who have the potential as candidates to face the election.

"We actually have around three to four youth candidates to be considered. We will field those who have the potential

"However, we agreed to leave it to the top leadership to decide," he told Sinar Harian on Tuesday.

Asked regarding Armada's preparation to face the election, he said preparations have been made since the state election, two years ago.

"Sabah is unique because we are still in the previous election "mood", even all machineries are ready," he said.

However, when asked about the percentage of voter turnout during the floods, the Pintasan assemblyman said it was expected to be low.

"We will look at the situation and the floods, if it is bad, I think the percentage (voter turnout) would decrease," he said.
