SHAH ALAM - Pas is of the opinion that the domination of the majority in a country's politics is neither unfair nor racist.

Instead, the Islamist party's secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyudin Hassan remarked that such a phenomenon is a widely accepted norm in all parts of the world.

"Pas is confident that the ummah unity can easily be achieved if all Islamic Malay and Bumiputera parties in the country can stand together in the coming 15th General Election (GE15).

"This is important because there are bigger things at stake here, which are the stability of the country and the happiness of the people," said Takiyudin in a statement today.

As such, he called on Pas' election machinery to be prepared to face GE15 which will be conducted soon.

He also reminded those of his party inlcuding Pas' supporters to always be civil when politicking as per to the teachings of Islam.

"This includes social media posting. We must not spread hate and lies even towards our political enemies.

"We need to bear in mind that Pas' constitution decreed for all members to not just be civil but also refrain from taking any actions that wrongs the interests of the party," Takiyudin stressed.
