SHAH ALAM - Collaboration with Gerakan Tanah Air (GTA) for the 15th General Election (GE15) is not going to happen, says Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

In a news report by Free Malaysia Today, Anwar Ibrahim said he had turned down Gerakan Tanah Air (GTA) chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s offer due to the inconsistency on the latter’s stance.

“It’s alright, we will continue to monitor what he has to say. Next week, he will have a different stance,” he said.

Anwar told the media during the PH Presidential Council meeting at PKR headquarters, yesterday.

Recently, Dr Mahathir said he was up for a collaboration with any political parties which includes PH, as long as they were eyeing on the same view, which was to go against Umno.

He also further said the question should be asked to the PH chairman as he had no problem to work with Anwar.

"That question should be asked to him (Anwar). Ask him if he wants to work with me, but (I know) he doesn't want to work with me.

"I'm a very nice man," he had said.
