KUALA LUMPUR - The relationship between Umno and Pas will not be break, says Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan.

He said even though Pas was not with Umno in the 15th General Election (GE15), the relationship between the two parties will not end.

"The consensus of the ummah continues with individual relationships even if not through the party," he said in a Facebook post on Friday.

He also uploaded photos during the Umno Secretary-General Meeting held at the Kuala Lumpur Trade Centre (WTCKL) today.

On Thursday, Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang said the party has decided to strengthen its cooperation with Perikatan Nasional (PN) on the principle of uniting the ummah and the matter was achieved in the Pas central committee meeting.

Subsequently, Umno and BN through its president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi decided that the party would go solo to face GE15
