SHAH ALAM - Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi claims the enemies of the coalition will continue to incite and deceive the minds of the people despite explaining facts over accusations made.

He said similar tactics were also seen in 14th General Election (GE14).

The former Bagan Datuk MP added among the attacks included his speech at the recent MIC Assembly.

"My speech at the MIC Assembly was twisted. Speeches were taken out of context and used as material to slander.

"The true essence of my speech was that BN leaders risk facing political charges if BN's opponent wins GE15. Even though there is a video recording of the speech but my words are still being twisted," said the former Deputy Prime Minister in a post on Facebook on Friday.

He also spoke on general elections during floods.

"Meteorology Malaysia (MetMalaysia) has denied claims that there would be major floods at the end of November.

"The order of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah is in line with the view of many parties that GE15 can be held before the monsoon season," he said.

"His Majesty hopes that Election Commission (EC) will take into account the east coast monsoon which is predicted to start in mid-November," he added.

Zahid cautioned against such incitement.
