SHAH ALAM - Pakatan Harapan (PH) has not decided whether former Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail contest in the 15th General Election (GE15).

Its chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said there were requests, especially from the women leaders to see the Pandan incumbent MP to contest again.

However, he said these were all suggestions and requests that will be further refined.

“There is indeed requests to see her contest in GE15, we will see how.

“I myself don’t know yet whether to contest or not and where,” he said during a press conference after launching the Iltizan Women and Machinery for GE15 today at Dewan Raja Muda Musa.

Anwar remained tight-lipped about the seat he plans to contest for the polls.

"Pening juga (quite confusing). Negeri Sembilan is asking. Johor is asking, Perak is asking.

"Only Penang is not asking me to return to compete," he said.

Meanwhile, Anwar said PH will also work to ensure that at least 30 per cent of the coalition's candidates were women.

He said that if it was successfully achieved, it will be a very convincing start for PH.
