BAGAN DATUK - Contrary to the speculation of many, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob insists that there are no frictions or fractures between him and Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Ismail Sabri who is also Umno vice-president, the narrative of the duo's supposedly being at loggerheads was none other than a mission unscrupolous individuals to drive wedge in Umno and Barisan Nasional (BN) in the coming 15th General Election (GE15).

"I assure you that we have no issues with each other. But of course there are those who wants us to be disunited because it serves their purpose.

"So let us stand united and deprive those quarters of what they could have gained from our fractures," he implored to BN supporters, members and leaders at the coalition's function here today.

He added that Zahid and him would always meet-up to discuss ways to counter any slander insinuating the existence of fractions in Umno, especially the ones implicating the two of them. - BERNAMA
