KOTA KINABALU - Former Sekong assemblyman Datuk Samsuddin Yahya has died on Thursday.

The news was shared by Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin through his Facebook account.

"Al-Fatihah, may he be placed among the righteous. Condolences to Datin Junaidah Aji and the family," he wrote.

It is understood that Samsuddin died while he was on his way back from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu.

Samsudin who was also former Umno Batu Sapi division chief and held the Sekong seat for three terms before being defeated in the 14th General Election (GE14).
