GE15: Anwar ready to meet Dr M too

KLANG - Pakatan Harapan (PH) Chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is prepared to meet Gerakan Tanah Air (GTA) Chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to discuss cooperation for the 15th General Election (GE15).

He however said the coalition must first explain what principles they could offer for the country's future.

"As I have stressed, if it was for the intention of going against Barisan Nasional (BN) and Perikatan Nasional (PN), what is the basis that it needed to be done?

"Is the action going to be done on the principles of fighting corruption, better governance and to eradicate corruption?" he questioned when met by reporters during the Little India visiting session on Friday, here.

Dr Mahathir once again extended his hand of reconciliation with Anwar for the purpose of cooperating in GE15.

He said if the matter was for the future of a better country, he was prepared for it.

Meanwhile, Anwar when asked about the risk of the Tambun Parliament seat he planned to contest for in GE15, said that he was prepared for it.

"I am not looking at the percentage of winning, I will work as hard as I can InsyaAllah," he explained.
