Alice Lau Kiong Yieng wiill defend her Lanang seat while Oscar Ling Chai Yew will try to retain the Sibu seat with newcomer Tony Chiew, Bintulu DAP publicity secretary, will run for the Bintulu seat.
The candidates were announced by Sarawak DAP chairman Chong Chieng Jen at Sibu DAP’s dinner here tonight, with party stalwart Lim Kit Siang in attendance.
Yesterday Chong announced that Sarawak DAP would vie for eight seats in the state, Mas Gading, Bandar Kuching, Stampin, Serian, Sarikei, Sibu, Lanang and Bintulu for GE15. - BERNAMA
