Perak BN to announce GE15 candidates next Wednesday

Its chief Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad said the announcement will be made as soon as he receives the full list of candidates.
"Since Friday the 4th is Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah's birthday, we will try to make an announcement earlier," he told reporters on Thursday.
Saarani said this after witnessing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Ipoh City Council (MBI) and YTL Communications Sdn Bhd for 5G network coverage project in Ipoh city at the MBI Meeting Hall here.
In the same ceremony, MoU session was held with the Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB) on bamboo industry development projects and with Perak Agricultural Development Corporation (Perak SADC) for joint venture agreement for development in the Gunung Masoorat area.
Saarani, the Perak Menteri Besar further said campaigning materials are seen at some areas eventhough the campaigning period is yet to start.
Perak has 24 Parliamentary seats and 59 State Assembly seats.
On Tuesday, Saarani said BN Perak is aiming to win at least 40 state seats and 15 parliamentary seats in GE15.
In GE14, BN Perak won 12 parliamentary seats and 27 state seats.
