SUBANG JAYA - A Perodua Myvi driver caused a crash involving nine vehicles after recklessly changing lanes at Kilometre 38 of the Shah Alam Highway (Kesas), here today.

Subang Jaya District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said a report was lodged this morning.

"A preliminary investigation shows the 22-year-old woman's Perodua Myvi was in straight lane heading to Kuala Lumpur before suddenly turning to the left to get into the Persiaran Kewajipan exit.

"A trailer behind did not have enough time to press brakes and crashed into the Perodua Myvi car," he said in a statement on Thursday.

Wan Azlan said the Perodua Myvi overturned and hit seven other vehicles waiting in traffic jams.

No serious injury were reported.

He said the case in being investigated under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act (APJ) 1987 for careless driving.
