KOTA KINABALU - Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS) is prepared to place a candidate and contest at the Kimanis Parliament in the 15th General Election (GE15).

Even though it was not said who would be the potential candidate in the Kimanis Parliament however, the area was synonymous with its former MP, the former foreign minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman who was leading PCS.

PCS Deputy President Datuk Ansari Abdullah in his statement said multiple parties had given their sweet promises towards the Kimanis people in GE14 and the State Election (SE), but it was never implemented.

"It is sad for the Sabah people when he promises were abandoned and the people were still waiting for all that was written down to be implemented in Sabah till today.

"Based on their pressure and requests of the Sabah people especially Kimanis, I can guarantee that PCS will almost certainly contest in the Kimanis Parliament in GE15," he said in a statement on Monday.

He said the purpose of PCS was not to snatch positions nor bonuses but what is important was to gain Sabah people's rights as what was completely stated in the Malaysian Agreement 15963 (MA63) and the Intergovernmental Committee (IGC) 1962.

"We found multiple offers from several parties. However, we are prepared to work together with any party even individuals that could help achieve our goals instead of empty promises.

"The people of Sabah are tired of being promised to and played, for too long Sabah's land resources was taken and not given back for the sake of Sabah's native children.

"Maybe it is time for Sabah to change directions to a new coalition for Sabah people's importance and rights, if Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) and Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star) each had only one seat could voice themselves, why not PCS," he said.
