GE15: PN’s dropped candidates can be sad, but for one day only – Gerakan president

KUALA LUMPUR: As Perikatan Nasional (PN) is unveiling its candidate names today, the coalition stresses that it will emphasise on ‘peremajaan’ or rejuvenation as its winning strategy.

Gerakan President Datuk Dr Dominic Lau Hoe Chai in his speech said those whose names were not chosen tonight should know that it was not they were not eligible to contest this upcoming 15th General Election (GE15) but it could be because the candidates were not in line with the party’s strategy for the election.

“You can be sad, you can be angry, but only for one day before you need to come back and help PN to win (in the GE15),” he said.

Dominic addressed the crowd during his opening speech at the candidate announcement event held at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Mitec) today.

He also stressed that for the upcoming election, no other prime minister candidate could lead the country better than PN chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
