KUALA LUMPUR - Incumbent Tambun MP Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu expresses his thanks to his supporters for allegedly putting up the billboard, which went viral recently.

He believed it was done by supporters who are good at making ‘jokes’, especially with his candidacy for the Tambun Parliament for this upcoming 15th General Election (GE15).

“I would like to thank those who put up the billboard for me and I think this was done among my friends who are good at joking around.

“I am confident the billboard means that I am not lost in Tambun because I grew up there.

“Maybe if you are the one coming there, then you need to be careful since the roads there might make you lost,” he told the media at the PN’s candidates announcement at Mitec, here, on Tuesday.

He also joked that if someone found themselves lost there, then they should find him.

On Nov 1, it was reported that a new billboard was put up on the North-South Expressway (Plus) flyover in Jalan Tambun.

The billboard depicted Faizal’s face along with the sentence ‘Never Lost in Tambun’.

Speculations were made that the billboard was put up as support for Faizal, who would be going against PKR President Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim who would contest in the constituency in the upcoming GE15.
