BANGI - Gerakan Tanah Air (GTA) which will be contesting using the name Parti Pejuang Tanah Air (Pejuang) in the 15th General Election (GE15) have submitted a total of 121 parliamentary seats.

GTA Secretary General Datuk Marzuki Yahya said they were also considering to contest in several other parliamentary states.

"For state seats, it will be announced by the state leadership," he said during his speech during GTA's candidate announcement ceremony today.

Marzuki invited all GTA members to join hands and remain united to win GE15.

"People say we are weak and small, we don't have the strength, we don't have enough machinery but if we join hands we will also become big and strong," he said.

He said the announcement of the GTA candidates showed that the coalition were prepared for the political arena.

"We are still new but we have been given a big test which is to face GE15," he said.

He said even though people were still unfamiliar with GTA coalition parties and still fragile, this was not an obstacle.
