KLANG - The line-up of potential Barisan Nasional (BN) candidates for the 15th General Election (GE15) does not undermine the confidence of Pakatan Harapan (PH) to win the contested seats.

PH chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said what it showed now was a tumultuous situation in BN.

"We are not threatened by the BN candidates. We see that the situation is quite chaotic in BN and in Perikatan Nasional (PN), Pas is supported by the People's Movement Party (Gerakan) which openly opposes hudud.

"But it's the same reason they (Pas) attacked DAP, but I saw Gerakan released some statements that were far way harsher, more insulting to Islam, but they compromised. So we will make our comments our answer," he told reporters met after the Offer of Hope Launch Ceremony – Kita Boleh! here on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, BN announced the line-up of potential GE15 candidates for the coalition.

Rembau incumbent MP Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar was named as a potential candidate for the Sungai Buloh Parliament, which sparked rumours that PH might nominate another candidate.

The hint of the change of candidates was made by PKR Deputy President Rafizi Ramli in a tweet on Twitter which said that he would hold a discussion with Anwar regarding the matter.
