JASIN - Nine Barisan Nasional (BN) polling district centre (PDM) operation rooms in the Jasin parliamentary constituency that were shut down last week following protests by party members are operational again.

Jasin Umno division chief Datuk Hasan Abd Rahman said the closures that lasted for three days from last Saturday happened when supporters were dissatisfied with the choice of candidates selected by the party leadership for the 15th general election (GE15).

He said among the operations rooms that had been closed were Tehel, Kesang, Parit Perawas and Sebatu.

"The issue has been resolved and the PDMs are now operational again.

"The party machinery has accepted the leadership’s decision and will work hard towards a BN victory in Jasin, which has always been a BN stronghold,” he told a media conference here today.
