'I represent everyone, not only PwD', says Noraishah

PUTRAJAYA - Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate for the Putrajaya parliament Noraishah Mydin Abdul Aziz says she will not only be representing people with disabilities (PwD) in the constituency.

She said she will be fighting for the rights of everyone in the area.

“We all must remember, we are only human and Allah can test us in many ways and we can fall sick anytime,” she said during her campaign at the MyFarm outlet, here.

Noraishah who was suffering from spina bifida since birth, has to use a wheelchair everywhere she goes.

She said she will do her best for the people of Putrajaya and asked for the people to pray for her well-being so that she will be able to carry out her responsibility for the people in the constituency.

“Being a person with disabilities does not mean that one is unhealthy, unstable and insignificant, so we must do our best,” she said.

In the 15th General Election (GE15), Noraishah who hailed from Kuala Lumpur will be contesting against five other candidates who were the seat's icumbent Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor (BN), former Education Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Radzi Md Jidin (PN), Mohd Rosli Ramli (Pejuang) as well as two Independent candidates Lim Fice Bee and Samsudin Mohamad Fauzi.

Noraishah was listed as the second candidate on the ballot paper during nomination day yesterday.
