TAWAU - The clash among several political alliances including the one happening in Sabah is about gaining majority support and to become the Prime Minister.

Warisan president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said the clash happened as they wanted it to happen.

"This is a sign from god, guidance for the people, the bonds were not sincere but were made to confuse the people. There is no explanation for what happened in the peninsula. The division was due to their desire wanting to become the people's representative and for the numbers.

"Why would they clash in Sabah, because they wanted the volume. The amount they wanted was for their party to become the Prime Minister. They are smart to come to Sabah and offer the Deputy Prime Minister post for Sabah and Sarawak," he told reporters after an event with the people in Kalabakan, here, on Sunday.

Asked about Warisan's manifesto, the Semporna Parliament candidate said there were five offers made by the party.

"Firstly, we want unity for the people in the country, secondly, we want a government that is transparent, a leader with integrity.

"The third was for us to have a sense of belonging, regardless of race and religion, All Malaysians have the rights not only in an area, religion and race.

"The fifth is that there must be equality and justice, how is it fair that the promises made in the Malaysian Agreement 1963 (MA63) were never fulfilled," he said.
