SHAH ALAM - Klang was hit by flash floods today after a heavy downpour.

The areas affected are Jalan Haji Abdul Manan, Taman Seri Puteri, Meru, Jalan Limau, Taman Seri Sementa,Klang Sentral and Sungai Kapar Indah.

Media Selangor on Twitter posted that Meru town including Kampung Telok Gong and its surrounding areas have been listed by Irrigation and Drainage department as flash flood prone.

“Several areas in Meru, Klang were reported to be flooded, including SK Meru,” Media Selangor posted on Twitter.

Former Bersatu supreme leader council member Datuk Dr Rais Hussin also posted a video of Bandar Puteri Klang flooded.

Meanwhile, a user @Lemonpedas on Twitter also shared videos of the flooding situation in Meru and Kapar.
