BANGI - Bangi DAP candidate Syahredzan Johan said that political party should not be associated with religion as parties are a platform to provide services for the people.

He said the people should judge him by his actions, not by his political party.

"Political party is not a religion, but a channel (wadah) for us to provide our service.

"(So) judge me as Syahredzan Johan and DAP member, judge me by my actions not by my party," he said during a Pakatan Harapan (PH) ceramah, here, tonight.

The lawyer also reminded political parties not to underestimate the power of the people as several experts said Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition is not ready for election.

Syahredzan further pointed out that BN coalition is "messy" compared to the previous elections.

"They are eager to hold the elections during the monsoon season and now that we are nearing the election, we heard many problems among them.

"I have never seen such a mess by BN from the previous elections.

"They are fractured," he said.
