GE15: Early voting percentage steadily rise

PUTRAJAYA - The percentage of early voters in the 15th General Election (GE15) are steadily showing a rise in numbers.

The Election Commission (EC) stated as of 1pm on Tuesday, a total of 78 per cent of voters have casted their votes in the early polling centres throughout the country.

The early voting process witnessed a total of 365,531 votes among the police and military personnel becoming the first group in setting the government mandate through GE15.

From the total, 146,737 were army personnel with their spouse while 118,794 were police officers and their spouses were from the General Operations Forces (PGA).
