Siti Nor Maslinda who is partially paralysed was wheelchair-bound and upon arrival, she was greeted by the Election Commission (EC) workers who then brought her to the polling station.
When met by reporters, Siti Nor Maslinda said she was involved in an accident in 2009 after she finished her shift at the Parit Police Station in Bandar Sri Iskandar in Perak.
"I had just finished working at the General Division of the police station and was on my way home when the car I was driving skidded,” she said.
She said she came to cast her ballot with her husband who is attached to the Alor Gajah district police headquarters.
Siti Nor Maslinda is a voter of the Hang Tuah Jaya parliamentary constituency where four contenders are vying for the seat namely Datuk Mohd Ridhwan Mohd Ali (Barisan Nasional (BN)-UMNO), Adam Adli Abd Halim (Pakatan Harapan (PH) - PKR), Mohd Azrudin Md Idris (Perikatan Nasional (PN)-Bersatu) and Sheikh Ikhzan Sheikh Salleh (Gerakan Tanah Air (GTA)-Pejuang). - BERNAMA
