SHAH ALAM - As floods are getting worse in the country, the Election Commission (EC) should by now announce whether the 15th General Election (GE15) would be postponed.

Election analyst G. Manimaran said there was not much time now as polling day was just around the corner.

"EC should announce it by today because we do not have enough time.

"The announcement must be made with confidence, we must state whether we will pause or not because the people are talking about it everywhere.

"We are running out of time, we must not leave the people hanging," he said when contacted.

He said there was already data from the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) predicting that floods were getting worse.

"Either A or B, yes or no, that is what the people want to know now," he added.
