SEGAMBUT - Former Umno veteran Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz told voters to "promise to yourself " to vote for the right candidate and cut the bad ones out for good.

"Right now promise youself. Please remember the person you vote in will be part of the government." she said during a Pakatan Harapan ceramah tonight.

"I am telling you to speak without fear or favour. Let's make a change," she said, reminding voters not to allow "crooks to comeback. Cut them out".

She said sometimes people tell her to retire quietly but she will not be able to serve the rakyat if she remains silent.

"Its so important as it involves the furture of your children. I get lots of complaints (over the economy) and I told them stop complaining and made the right choice," she told thousands of people at Taman Rimba Kiara, Taman Tun Dr Ismail.

The former minister said the real "Keluarga Malaysia" or Malaysian Family are "people like us and sacrifice your time tomorrow for your country, your future and children's future."

The 79-year old asked voters to do it for the future generation to ensure the country is managed well to stop the country's debt from rising further.

She further told the crowd not to be drawn with money dished out by politicians.
