SHAH ALAM - The Election Commission (EC) was urged to take an immediate response to resolve the problem regarding the failure of the public to browse the MySPRSemak portal to identify voting locations in the 15th General Election (GE15).

Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said many complaints from the people have been received in regard to the failure to access the website since Friday night.

"This defect is very regrettable because the EC should do all the preparations to ensure everything goes smoothly during the voting day.

"Therefore, the EC is urged immediately to fix the problem," he said in a statement on Saturday.

Since Friday, people have expressed complaints on social media after not being able to access the EC website to check polling locations.

This GE15 saw more than 20 million registered voters decide on Malaysia's mandate by electing the leader who will lead the country for the next five years.
