GE15: Ku Li demands a recount

KUALA LUMPUR: Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, better known as Ku Li has protested the results of P032 Gua Musang.
Earlier tonight the Election Commission (EC) announced that Ku Li has lost the seat he has held on to for 12 terms to Pas’ Mohd Azizi Abu Naim.
Azizi had secured 21,826 votes while Ku Li trailed behind at 21,663.
In a statement sent directly to the media, Ku Li demanded a recount given that the difference is less than four per cent.
The former Gua Musang MP said that the demand is in accordance with the law.
