'We don't watch movies', quips Faizal Azumu as he enters Muhyiddin’s residence

KUALA LUMPUR - "We don't watch movies, neither do we eat popcorn," joked the Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) deputy president Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu when he was greeted by the media on Thursday.

He said this when asked by the media about his purpose in coming to the residence of Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin in Bukit Damansara at 9.25am.

He drove a white Lexus car accompanied by his wife, Datin Seri Nomee Ashikin Mohammed.

On Wednesday morning, Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim joked that he wanted to go out to watch a movie when asked by the media about the leader's destination when he left his residence in Sungai Long, Kajang.

Meanwhile, in the evening, Anwar once again joked about wanting to watch a movie and also handed over a packet of popcorn to the media who were gathered outside his office in Jalan Gasing, Petaling Jaya.

On Thursday, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah was scheduled to hold a Special Meeting of the Conference of Rulers at the Istana Negara at 10.30 am.
