SHAH ALAM - The long waiting game of the political deadlock has ended, but the obstacles and struggles are nowhere to cease.

PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar expressed her pride over PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s appointment as the 10th Prime Minister.

“To be sure, since 1998 until now - it is our duty to stick to the line of struggle - demanding justice not for ourselves, but as a catalyst for protection for all.

“Challenges still await - and after the swearing-in ceremony - efforts to unite countrymen, examine economic problems, attract investment through economic stimulation and local talent, as well as build the nation and the nation based on social justice and accurate statehood,” she said.

Nurul Izzah further contended it was not the property left for the future generation but was the idealism and principle of struggle that was priceless are the legacy should be inherited by the generation.

Anwar had been appointed as the 10th Prime Minister after days in the hung parliament.

The future premier will be sworn in as the Prime Minister at the Istana Negara by 5pm, today.
