Anwar arrives at Istana Negara for swearing-in ceremony

SHAH ALAM – Half an hour before Malaysia witnessed the 10th Prime Minister swearing-in ceremony, Pakatan Harapan chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is seen arriving at Istana Negara.

The motorcade ferrying the country’s next prime minister arrived at Gate 1 of the Palace at 4.30pm.

The Tambun MP had earlier left his house at 4pm.

Anwar, 75, donned a black Baju Melayu had waved to reporters and supporters in front of his house.

He was accompanied by his wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah.
