Covid-19: Malaysia records 3,530 new cases with eight deaths

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia records 3,530 new Covid-19 cases with seven imported cases within the last 24 hours.

Data from the Ministry of Health (MoH) through their KKMNow portal had recorded eight deaths with four outside of hospital facilities.

MoH announced 27,423 active Covid-19 cases, with 92.3 per cent equivalent to 25,127 are currently undergoing home quarantine.

The data showed 1,978 Covid-19 patients were placed in hospitals with 40 patients placed in the intensive care unit (ICU).

61 patients were reported to require ventilator support.

The recovery cases were recorded at 3,319 making the total recoveries in the country to 4,914,951.
