KUALA LUMPUR - The extraordinary support given to Perikatan Nasional (PN) in the 15th General Election (GE15) proves that the coalition's struggle, aspirations, brand and direction are well received by people from all walks of life, especially the young, said its secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin

As such, he called on the PN supporters and machinery to hold steadfast to the fundamentals of the party's struggle for a better future for Malaysia.

He said PN chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, along with the coalition's top leadership, expressed their appreciation to all Malaysians who voted and supported the coalition in the election.

"Our heartfelt gratitude also goes especially to the PN workers and machinery who worked hard to ensure victory in GE15.

"Let’s move forward. We need to be strong and sincere to continue our struggle through the PN platform regardless of the obstacles and challenges," he said in a statement today.

In the GE15 last Nov 19, PH won 82 seats; PN 73 seats; BN (30); GPS (23); Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (six); Warisan (three); Independent (two), while Parti Bangsa Malaysia and Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik with one seat each. - BERNAMA
