"May Allah SWT bare witness to my responsibilities to the leaders. I do not advise besides on the basis of love for the country, religion and race," he added.

Meanwhile, he said he upheld his respect towards the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and the Council of Rulers for their wisdom in deciding on the formation of government after the 15th General Election (GE15).

"To those who did not succeed, it's not the end of everything. There is a better fate for those who continue to be patient, sincere and istiqamah. Malaysia will not succeed without an opposition that does the checks and balances carefully.
