SHAH ALAM - The family of former striker and Kelantan football legend Mohd Hashim Mustapha, 57, denies that he has died as per the rumours spread on WhatsApp applications on Tuesday.

His son-in-law Mohd Nizab Ayub said until now his father-in-law was still receiving treatment at the Kubang Kerian Universiti Sains Malaysia Hospital (HUSM) intensive care unit (ICU) and was in a critical condition.

"However, the doctor informed us to call all the family members," he said when contacted by Sinar on Tuesday.

Hashim had to be put into an induced sleep due to his diabetes complications.
