Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin, South Korean celebrity couple, welcomed the birth of their first child on Sunday.

It was revealed by Son Ye Jin’s entertainment agency, MSteam Entertainment, that she gave birth to a baby boy.

"Son Ye Jin gave birth to her son and both the mother and child are healthy.” the agency stated.

JTBC reported that Son Ye Jin is recuperating at a maternity care facility in Yeoksam, Seoul.

Media reports also stated that Hyun Bin actually missed the birth of his son because he was filming a movie Harbin in Mongolia, however his agency, VAST Entertainment, rejected this claim.

"Hyun Bin returned to Korea after filming Harbin in Mongolia on the 26th and stayed by Son Ye Jin's side when she gave birth," the agency told a Korean news outlet.

Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin announced in 2021 that they had been dating for one year following the completion of their hit romantic drama Crash Landing On You in 2020.

They announced they were expecting a baby three months after their wedding in March 2022.
