KOTA BHARU - Kelantan football legend Mohd Hashim Mustapha died at 10.25pm in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia (HUSM) Kubang Kerian on Tuesday (Nov 29).
He was 57-years old.
His son-in-law Mohd Nizad Ayub said he was surrounded by family members during his final moments before passing on soon after.
"The funeral process will take place tomorrow (Wednesday), " he said when contacted by Sinar last night.
It previously reporter that Mohd Hashim, the former striker for Kelantan and the state football legend, had to be put to sleep by medical personnel due to diabetes complications.
His son-in-law Nizad, who shared the news of Hashim’s demise, plays withe The Red Warriors.
